Starting off the weekend is the Spades tournament hosted at the TONE Gallery on Friday, June 14th. This is a serious competition, where teams go head-to-head in each round vying for the cash prize as well as the bragging rights of being the Spade Champion.
Saturate in Elegance at the Gala and Afterparty
Following the Spades tournament is the thrilling Gala and Afterparty at the Orange Mound Lounge on Saturday, June 15th. An evening designed for fashion, beauty, and charitable contributions, the Gala follows a unique theme each year. This year, the theme is – Revival: Sundayโs Best, a crucial part of the Black Southern culture. It is an opportunity for guests to dress their best, showcasing their personal flair with elegance and grandeur.

Rounding off the weekend is the annual Juneteenth Festival at the Orange Mound Tower on Sunday, June 16th. It’s a family-friendly all-day event marking the end of the remarkable celebration.
