MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Grizzlies finalized an Exhibit 10 deal with the Grizzlies camp target Zach Cleveland, confirming a training-camp contract for the undrafted Liberty forward first reported in June.

Cleveland, a 6-foot-7 forward, spent four college seasons at Liberty and started since his sophomore year. He was named Conference USA Player of the Year in 2025-26 after averaging 11.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, 6.8 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.3 blocks in 34.9 minutes across 33 games.

An Exhibit 10 contract is a non-guaranteed training camp deal that can include a bonus worth up to $91K if a player is waived before the season and then spends at least 60 days with his team’s G League affiliate. It can also be converted into a two-way deal before opening night.

Draft analysts described Cleveland as wildly athletic with strong passing ability while noting he needs a more reliable jump shot. He attempted 36 total three-pointers in his Liberty career and made four.

The Memphis Grizzlies remain the city major professional sports franchise and play at FedExForum. Adding a Conference USA Player of the Year on an Exhibit 10 deal gives Memphis another wing to evaluate in camp as the roster takes shape for the coming season.

Cleveland signed after going undrafted, and the formal announcement about three and a half months after the initial report confirms he will compete for a camp roster spot in Memphis alongside other fringe candidates for opening-night roles on the Memphis Grizzlies roster this fall.
