Graceland, the estate of Elvis Presley at 3764 Elvis Presley Blvd, occupies a significant portion of the Elvis Presley Boulevard commercial corridor and generates substantial tourism activity. History
Whitehaven was an independent municipality annexed by Memphis in 1969. Elvis Presley purchased Graceland in 1957 for $102,500; it became one of the most-visited private residences in the United States after his death in 1977. Priscilla Presley opened Graceland to tours in 1982.
