Just before 11:30 AM on December 7, police were called to Garden Row Drive. It turns out that a man named Marquis Watts had a serious showdown. Reports indicated that there was an earlier altercation involving him and two other individuals, which spiraled into him firing shots at them. Fortunately, it seems that luck was on everyone’s sideโhe missed both targets, and, thankfully, no one was hurt in this alarming incident!
Watts is Now on the Run!
Currently, MPD has issued a warrant for Wattsโ arrest, charging him with a laundry list of serious offenses. Among them are two counts of attempted first-degree murder, along with charges related to using a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, reckless endangerment, vandalism, and, to top it off, being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. Talk about a serious situation!
