MEMPHIS — The highly anticipated Memphis Italian Festival is set to return for its 35th year, promising a weekend filled with food, music, and family-friendly activities. The festival will run from Thursday, May 29, to Saturday, May 31, at Marquette Park in East Memphis, located at the corner of Mt. Moriah and Park Avenue.
The festival hours are 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday. Attendees can purchase individual day tickets priced at $15 for Thursday and Friday, and $20 for Saturday. Tickets are available online or at the gate, with active military personnel and children aged 10 and under granted free admission.
Festival-goers are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets, cups, strollers, and sunscreen to enhance their experience, while outside food and drink are prohibited. Free parking will be accessible at the Hilton Memphis Headquarters and in nearby neighborhoods, ensuring convenience for all attendees.
This year’s festival features a lineup of exciting competitions and musical performances, appealing to a wide range of interests. Competitions include bocce ball, cornhole, volleyball, and traditional grape stomping, providing attendees with engaging ways to participate in the festivities.
The musical schedule is jam-packed with talent. Provin’ Ground and the Aubrey McCrady Band will take the stage on Thursday, followed by Generation Gap, Amber McCain, and Motel California on Friday. The festival will culminate with performances by Area 51 and Almost Elton on Saturday night.
