This year marks the 12th anniversary of The Commercial Appeal’s effort to shine a spotlight on fantastic workplace cultures across the city. Energage is well-versed in this kind of project, conducting similar surveys for media outlets in 65 markets across the nation. In 2023, a total of 1,748 organizations accepted the challenge to invite their employees to share their thoughts. Of these, only 44 organizations in the Memphis area received recognition as Top Workplaces. This shows just how high the bar is set when it comes to what makes a workplace truly stand out.
