SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — The Memphis Grizzlies looked beaten in San Francisco with less than four minutes to play Friday night, then closed on a 17-0 run and stole a 111-108 road win from the Golden State Warriors on a Cameron Boozer jumper with 20 seconds remaining.

Golden State led 106-94 after a De’Anthony Melton three with 3:47 left. From there the Warriors went cold, missing nine straight shots and failing to make another field goal. Ty Jerome cut the gap to 106-105 with a three at the 1:24 mark, Zach Edey blocked a Stephen Curry three-point try, and Jaylen Wells knotted the score at 106 from the foul line before Boozer put Memphis in front for good.

Boozer, the third overall pick, ended the night with 25 points and 13 boards. It was a sharp turnaround from his first NBA game two nights earlier, when he made just 2 of 15 shots but still grabbed 11 rebounds and handed out five assists in a 20-point home win over Utah. Head coach Tuomas Iisalo praised the 19-year-old after that opener for his rebounding and his defense.

Jerome, coming off a career-best 45 points in the opener, added 28 points. Curry led Golden State with 24, and rookie Yaxel Lendeborg, the 11th pick and a college rival of Boozer, put up 18 points, 13 boards and six assists in his first game at home. Brandin Podziemski also scored 18.

Tempers ran hot. Isaiah Stewart and Draymond Green drew a double technical before halftime, and Lendeborg and Jerome were hit with another in the third quarter.

The win moves Memphis to 2-0 on the young season.
