CEO Award Ceremony Memphis
The 2024 CEOs of the Year Awards kicked off with a crisp and lively Memphis morning at the lush Memphis Botanic Garden. This illustrious event hosted by Memphis Magazine has built a legacy in recognizing the diligence, ingenuity, and vision of chief executive officers from various industries who have not just excelled in their businesses, but have also made laudable strides in community development.
Since its inception in 2012, the awards have been saluting those leaders who have been propelling their companies and improving the community through their dedicated efforts. The 2024 honourees who have been acknowledged for their record-setting performances and fostering new relationships are Rick James of Castle Retail Group; Pat Mitchell Worley of Soulsville Foundation; Boyden Moore of Orgill; and Dwayne Spencer of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis.
The event held on April 16, 2024, started with a breakfast at the Hardin Hall in the Memphis Botanic Garden, celebrating the achievements of these exemplary leaders. The presenting sponsors for the event were ProTech Services Group and eBiz Solutions, all of whom have supported the recognition event ardently over the years.
Ted Townsend, president and CEO of the Greater Memphis Chamber, delivered an enlightening keynote speech presenting an inspiring outlook of the developments currently shaping the city and the wider region.
The editor of Memphis Magazine and CEO of its parent company, Contemporary Media, Anna Traverse, moderated an engaging panel discussion joined by the honoured CEOs. The conversation reflected the assortment of challenges and successes these leaders have faced in their respective organizations.
